I find riding standing up for a kilometre or so every once in a while works very well.
Speaking of Eden Park....what a waste of tax and rate payers money that place is.....I went to a Super 14 ( I think thats what its called) between the Blues and some South African team.... I only went for the meal.....anyway....you are so far away from the game you have to watch the replays on the screen....... and the stadium was 1/2 empty as the seats are too dear and peeps have better things to do that queue for the toiilets and pay $8.00 for a pissy Speights. I saw the delayed coverage on Prime and it was way better at home. Thats my anti RWC business ( its not a sport) rant..... a business that bludges money of the taxpayer for its overpaid players.... Anyway Cmoore you'll be too far back to see the Sky City Cheerleaders and if you go up close you'll look like a dirty old man.... Only up side is all our maintenance is cancelled until November

I have spent hundreds of hours in the last year at the Park getting the new lights up and working..........I wouldn't pay to go there ever, but i do understand people who do because they like the atmosphere and to be able to say for the rest of their lives that they were there......like i can for the rained out Scottish?? test back in the 80's. or early 90's....although i had actually left my seat and moved to the upper stand walkway to get out of the rain.....counting down until it was over....awefull...........I like the way the park looks now, the big screens are awesome.....and yes i did once get stuck just behind the girls in the hot tub...it was dreadful.......
I saw the opening of the 1991 RWC at Twickers..... even took pics on the pitch.....first time I have mentioned it in 20 years.Can't remember who won or was playing....must have been AB's Vs England....? I do remember nicking the Fullers RWC glass from the pub afterwards though.......good times.....going to the pub I mean.
Eden Park? Shit,that was one hell of a night - they found me sitting alone with 4 empty bottles of champagne in front of me (I only remember 3) and woke up in the toilet block after they turned the hose on me. The only other thing I remember is pavlova and chips in one bowl...on the floor. The next day I thought fuck this for a life,went for a ride on my bike - smoked my first joint and a week later dropped my first trip...a change for the better as it turned out. So,why has it taken me so long,with many,many corrections to write this after consuming 4 handles of Waikato after work?

what a miserable night to witness the last convulsions of a once great rugby Provence....dreadful........they should sack them all........mind you the corporate box was nice.....the 20somethings next door getting plastered on free booze was fun....especially the girls in the little black number...........the food was very nice........and no traffic as only 20 people turned up.........
