    Yeah, many external rubber parts will need replacing. Intake boots harden and crack with age, their o rings flatten and break.

    If it was stored in a damp environment without running for an extended period, the open valve stems can rust causing guide and stem seal damage when next rotated at start up. Also, piston rings can rust to the bore and a small section of ring is broken off when the engine is next started. You can avoid this damage by removing the spark plugs and squirting penetrating oil inside the cylinders and leaving it to work over night, before its first start up. Many a low mileage stored bike engine is damaged/smokes because the new owner has not accounted for these scenarios.
