Another rider training day coming up. Well worth doing if only to say you have ridden around Pukekohe. link to forms. http://www.amcc.co.nz/advanced Here are some excuses you can use It might rain. I don't have leathers It costs too much its too far away I sold my track bike and now I only have a cooking model ( whatever that is).... : The 5 or 6 ladies seemed to have a good time yesterday, so
Or "I'm on holiday drinking beer and laying about in the sun"
I own a Guzzi and I would need a full support crew
Its still school holidays and I cant keep a 5 year old off the track while I am on it
I just found the this on the forum....this was the warm up lap on session two ...I didn't realize he was behind me filming..... you are supposed to behave for the first lap or so....
Lookin good Volty!
Cheers, I had a great time, good to catch up.......might even do the Jan one.....so inspired I ordered more bits for the BMW.
I'll be there instructing in Group 2 again if you are interested in coming along. I'm not hard to miss, being on an old Yamaha!!! Al
Got the Thruxton loaded in the van....hope the weather is good....
Great day at the track, don't know why more BFTP riders don't come and have a play ...its fun. Last one is in April...I don't think you need leathers as some peeps had non leather two piece's.....even flip top lids seem to be OK. Roll on Feb 3,4,5th.
I'd join ya Volty, if the track was closer. I really enjoyed my one and only experience at HD.
i like doin the controlled testing days there........$90 for the day and usually no more than a handfull of bikes so plenty of room on the track
next control day 28th january.....
Whats a control day?....my BMW if all goes to plan..will need some testing? Tell me more.
called controlled testing days at puke.........show up........pay $90.........sign ya life away and out ya go...............usually an ambo there but not gauranteed.........they split the day into classes...........bikes,street cars, race cars and open wheelers..........usually get up to 6 20 minute sessions depending on who shows up................have been there when the only bike on the track was my mate though he did share that session with an open wheeler................they waited till the car was at half track then let him out on his bike http://www.countiesracing.co.nz/motor-racing/13/
