I am thinking of putting a big bore kit in the GB has anyone done this ???? Or I might have to find a Different engine and drop in any ideas ???? It goes great at the moment but I want a bit more Grunt and a project over winter

From the little I know... on these old engines, other than a good exhaust (and sometimes pod filter/s) , getting the higher compression piston/s and higher lift cam/s gets you the biggest bang for the bucks.

have placed a bid someone else has done all the hard work now thats a good winter project just ride it
who knows of a 100mm piston that I can get I am looking at boring out the 400cc to 525cc which means I would need a 100mm piston any suggestions apart for buy a bigger bike
this is prolly just a newbie question but is the standard size 84mm? if so, is there enough room in the cylinder for sleve that would take 100mm piston?
XT660 Yamaha is 100mm bore. Dunno about gudgeon and such like

If your getting rid of the old engine i will happily take it off your hands!!! Plenty of GRUNT in Trinas GB400 but may need a look at valve guides etc someday
