Run to the restored lighthouse at the entrance to the Manakau. Saturday Feb 4th ( weekend of the Pukekohe Classic Festival) Ride meeting point is the gravel pit on the SH1 side of the Rangiri Bridge. Be gassed up to cover 130kms Meet at 10.30am Ride follows Glen Murray, Rongatoroto, Heatherington, SH22 to Pukekohe, then onto Waiuku and to the light house. Duration approx 2 hours + lunch. After enjoying the stunning views (you can climb to the top of the light house which is cool) we will go back to Waiuku for lunch at the Kentish Tavern which do a bonza feed. Ride will be medium pace, rain or shine. Mega corners to scrub in the tyres and a good chance to shake down your ride for the rally the following weeked. I will remember the stickets this time and Farmer Peter is coming down for the run and the classic festival.
l might actually be able to make it to this ride, would be awesome to earn my BFTP sticket rather than cheat by buying a bike (R50 toaster) with the sticket already attached,

Is good run, but pity 'tis on the Puke Classics day. Can us norfen types meet you at Wyook, don't really want to go all the way into Terra Barbari and then back again
