I moved into a "new" house which is pre-bftp so am looking for a sparkie and a plumber to help bring things to the new millenium Any recommendations? Cmoore and Volty you're not doing residential jobs are you?
renovated a couple of houses in days gone by, you think fixing old bikes costs money, and ohh the nightmares you will find!
Cmoore and Volty you're not doing residential jobs are you? No we are both office boys now..... .....looks up at light in study that is just wire and connectors ....
yeah wickle i renovated before and yes - i'm already finding lotsa "omg what were they thinking??" kinda diy "solutions". bikes are MUCH easier
nah sorry...no licence anymore.....if you have just moved in......let it settle......i find 10-15 years is a good period to decide what changes need to be done..
10-15 years, SWMBO will have run off with sympathetic sparkie by then!
lol, getting lotsa sensible advice here...
so a win win then.........
What area are you in?, I still have my electrical license
Oh, another sparkie among the bftp crew I'm in Massey. That too far?
Sorry old chap, thats a bit too far for an overloaded Gn250 to get to!
No worries, I suspected as much... thanks anyway
these days you can do most stuff yourself, you just need a sparky to sign it off....
I'm doing some work that requires a Building Consent. I was going to leave it to a professional altogether but, of course, in a true bftp fashion I'm happy to do the hard work myself. However, for some things it would be good to get a qualified advice so I know I'm doing it right. There's enough botch-ups on that house as it is More than happy to pay for some guidance but it's proving difficult to find a sparky through word of mouth, and I don't fancy Yellow Pages somehow.
What exactly are you intending to do, spark's wise?
