Calling on sparkies (220V) and plumbers

    I moved into a "new" house which is pre-bftp so am looking for a sparkie and a plumber to help bring things to the new millenium

    Any recommendations?

    Cmoore and Volty you're not doing residential jobs are you?

    No we are both office boys now..... .....looks up at light in study that is just wire and connectors ....

    yeah wickle i renovated before and yes - i'm already finding lotsa "omg what were they thinking??" kinda diy "solutions". bikes are MUCH easier

    nah sorry...no licence anymore.....if you have just moved in......let it settle......i find 10-15 years is a good period to decide what changes need to be done..

    I'm doing some work that requires a Building Consent. I was going to leave it to a professional altogether but, of course, in a true bftp fashion I'm happy to do the hard work myself. However, for some things it would be good to get a qualified advice so I know I'm doing it right. There's enough botch-ups on that house as it is
    More than happy to pay for some guidance but it's proving difficult to find a sparky through word of mouth, and I don't fancy Yellow Pages somehow.
