Mark will now be coming out of Hospital (Waikato) probably on Tuesday now. Broke his leg slipping on a pipe or something. Basically had to be plated back together and pinned. He's in ward 16 room 8 if there are any Waikato folk wanting to visit.

Not allowed to walk on it for 6 weeks so if your looking for a cup of tea somewhere Hotel Caseye could be the place to go.

The upside is I get to ride the coalburner back to his place on this Sunday.

Keep well Mark , best wishes and a safe recovery

Mr Motu, do you still have that sidecar chassis ?

Plenty of BMWs around here to bolt it up to. I've got an old beer crate with a cushion nailed on that's real comfortable for sitting on. If someone has a bit of 6x2 , we can lash it on at an angle for him to rest his leg on, and we're good to go. Sorted.

Hey Ixion, that is a lot of work. Wouldn't it just be easier to tie him to a pack rack and strap his leg along a pannier carrier? just need a couple of ratchet tie downs then...

you know... the name of this thread : "Caseye coming out" could be misinterpreted... if you know what I mean

I'm ashamed of you Mr Baptist. Is that any way to treat an invalid ? Mr Caseye has had a most traumatic experience he needs to travel in comfort, even luxury, not strapped to a pack rack , no matter how convenient that might be . He's done a lot for this group, the least we can do is spot him a beer crate in his time of need.

Besides , Mr Caseye is a large economy size ( like me). It would have to be a very large pack rack. Now, if it were a little fellow like Mr Motu , well, maybe. But Mr Motu hasn't got a broken leg ( though of course we could always arrange one )

Psyguy, shush... we have all been keeping that quiet

Ixion I do apologise, you are right he does deserve a beer crate... I will concede he deserves a beer crate... mind you it would have to be empty... not sure he deserves a full one

Great to hear you're back on track Mark.

Hey, you never told use you are now burning cola in the Yami. I guess there's enough sugar in that shit to produce power for a bike.
