Hampton Downs 8-10 Feb. They have listened to Murray and tickets are $25 per day or $35 for the weekend...and there is a BFTP special of $10 for the practice day. So pack up your keyboards and ride on down for a weekend of thrilling old skool racing. The posties won't be there as the Puke venue is closed for da V8 works and the event was moved to the HD. First Anniversary of the Classic Racing noobs. First race of season on 8th and 9th at Hampton Downs. http://festival.nzcmrr.com/ Conversation between Team Winston and Team BMW went like this: Volty: " So how is the Triumph coming along?" Trustme " waiting on pistons, cylinder, rods, brake calipers, got the gearbox bits and the work on the frame is done...how's the Beemer?" Volty " put the battery on charge"
It's a pity MR MAP has not come through like he said. Still waiting on bits & it looks like another 2 / 3 weeks + freight time. Disappointing
I like the idea of an electric beemer, Volty.
I still say that a race bike with an electric starter is just not right, somehow.
fixed that for ya.... Yes. Y' gotta move with the times, this is the 22nd century after all. You could down load a rolling starter... or I could disconnect it and you could push start for Team BMW...

It's $10 for friday - I might take the boy and look at the racers and miss the crowds. Met Ginger walking around the lake on my ride home - he must feel like a team owner now, he's got riders riding his bikes.
Ahhh....such sweet music Mr Moderator
Sounds like a Huskvana ...........................sewing machine! Be real easy to leave ali on the track with one of those.
