I'm just gearing up to expand into metal blasting and polishing. I've been having such a job finding anybody that can do decent work I figure I might as well do it myself. If anyone wants anything doing PM me. Rough prices are around - Full set of crankases blasted and polished $110 Petrol tank blasted and checked for leaks $25 Frame and swinging arm blasting $50 I'm happy to do a discount for anyone off the forum. Also, I'm starting building twinshock and classic trials frames and don't forget I rebuild wheels ( $55 + spokes or a pair for $90)
What sort of blasting machine did you get?
I'm just getting set up at moment, I'm already doing soda / glass / plastic but I'm getting bigger cabinet that i can use for crankcases and also (soon as I get premises sorted) I'll be putting in a walk in unit that will take full car chassis so will easily be able to do frames. Also be looking at bead and vapour blasting.
