well i'll sort this F***er out eventually, this is where i wanted the intro put somehow i managed to put it in the main blog and started a new thread, which after watching spankme's riveting video on how not to start a new thread, I failed miserably... ah well greetings from gissy I am returning to biking after a wee break('bout 9yrs)and have to start from scratch again by picking up older bikes working them a bit then selling them on to buy the next one, i have my eyes on a '89 GPZ900 i spotted in a fellas shed, all Kosher i was sorting a tree for him and got chatting about the ducati monster on the lawn and he introduced me to his "old" bike in a shed gathering dust,he's not in a rush to sell it which works in my favour... watch this space, getting heaps of enjoyment out of the TS at the mo, next step is to get my full licence as i've had my learners since 1992. never owned a road legal 250 or anyone who owned one. the new LAM's rules are awesome, just saving up to get the TS rego'd then we away..some of the other bikes i've owned-CB400N,CM200T,XL250S,XR200,XT550,CB500-4... will add some pic's to this along the way :-) . regards
hey trapster, good to here your back on the way to motorcycling again, that gpz9 would be worth grabbing theyre a great bike, the '89 still has the 16" front wheel but hey..the hook in real quick! when you get the ts all legal we could have a bftp run/meet at wairoa, theres a few of us in the napier/hastings region looking to get together more often. im meddling with a gs1100g atm, but also have an xl185s which would make a cool bftp traillie!
Welcome Trapster. I see you own more than 1 bike. This is dangerous and can lead to that well known BFTP malady Motorcyclus Nonmobilus, otherwise known as the more you have the less will work. Something to do with Einstien and relativity. Not sure how the disease spreads but I'm a carrier.

yep can be hard work alright, but i'm sure god intended us to have more than one bike otherwise why would there be road bikes and ,dirt bikes and sports bikes and touring bikes so must own more than one, oh unless you own a bmw f series...
