So you're one of the guys I see loading up with bargains when I get there? I don't see the point in getting there that early - the sort of stuff I'm after will be there all day, even next year.

Sad but true. I don't think I would go again The museum was cool.
And I had thought I was the only irritable one there ... it was underwhelming, but the museum helped to make up for it.
RIP: Swap Meets. Once loved by old bike and car owners, but in later years Trade Me has made buying rusty crap that does not fit so much easier. Sadly missed.
I stopped going when they started charging just to walk in the door. Like the Classic Festival at Puke, it was mainly for catching up with others for me. I'm turning into a hermit ...I only talk to people I've never met on a computer now.
