Hey guys, I'm keen on doing the coro loop again before winter kicks in, and i know some of you would definatly be keen for that. However, i don't know the loop very well, so have recruited a friend (TOTO) who is keen to take us out. I'v always enjoyed his rides and recommend everyone take a leaf from his books in being a safe rider. That being said, he did post me the following message. "A few things worth mentioning ... This weekend 28 and 29th march - is no good for going round the coro loop as there is the hot rod show/ beach hop in whangamata and there are thousands of old cars and hot rods on the coro. Next weekend 4 and 5th april - there will be the festival of speed in Whitianga and it will also be packed with cars and idiot boy racers who are a plain danger to any motorcyclist. The weekend after 11 and 12th april - that is easter and there will be tons of holliday traffic, boats etc, so that aint good around the coro either. that said, april 18 and 19 could be a good weekend for coro if weather is ok and there is no autumn rain in the picture. Thats about the coro. Regarding riders I do not recommend the coro to anyone who has less than 5000km riding experience and even then anyone doing the coro for first time should take extreme care. I have some nightmare memories left in my head from times when this was not followed. I have delt with too many ambulances and hospitals lately, so do not want to pick up anyone from the road. If you guys do decide to go on one of the three weekend I mentioned above, please be very careful. I'd be keen on the coro if you wanna do it on the saturday 18 april or later or on any given tuesday or wednesday before that as I have tuesdays and wednesdays off generally, and the traffic around the coro in a weekday is better than the weekend. let me know what u think... " So if you guys r keen, lemme know if u wana do a tue/wed or just wait for after easter. And if you don't have 5000Km under your belt, get riding!

I would rather we do it by Pm invite rather than public ride. Every time we post a public coro loop we get a few dicks that ruin it. wait till its a week before the ride to send out invites. I think that should work. what do ya recon ? btw, I can only do saturdays. I have ballet practice on sundays.
i meant our GROUP event list, i can make the group private too. just our nice little 250 group =] plus the non dick head riders we know
