Had a thought or two about ride days & such, and thought I'd throw them out there for discussion. In no particular order. Not sure if the BFTP Riders Group (Interwobble page thingy) allows for sub groups or whether it's easier to just start a single thread for anyone to register their intent/invitation to go for a ride on a casual weekly/daily basis?... Would it be a good idea to have a single thread (sub folder) for short notice rides that those who are available to do so, may choose to join in.... so as to avoid having dozens of "BFTP Ride" threads to track ???? Are there any interesting events occurring within riding distance in the next couple of months, that anyone thinks might be worthy destinations for an organised "BFTP" ride??? Motorsport, Food & Wine festivals, Air shows, Strip shows etc
Good ideas a thread started here in our Social Group should take care of the Short/Long Notice to BFTP members re weekly/daily or otherwise rides.As for when we actually ride well, I'd be happy with whenever psy-guy says, but the idea of making it coincide with other events is a good one.

i notice there is an upcoming events calendar for the group maybe that could be utilized??
it will be Rockbuddy, just as soon as we get organised and psy tells me when and where we are going next then I'll post the info here and on the main KB site and in the Events threads.
Here's a few events happening over the next little while. If enough peeps are interested in the events then a ride to the event could be on the cards. Any other ideas out there?? avatar - i like best the one caseye used. the others are too dark imo
Anyone for a blast next weekend? the 14th to the Hamilton Fieldays at Mystery creek? Details as below . If interested. Sound off here. Mystery Creek Field Days Hamilton Sunday the 14th June 2009. Meet at the BP on the Southern Motorway at Papakura. Outside The Autobahn cafe. Arrive at 9.30am, for a 10am start. Ride down to Hammy. pick up the boys and girls from down there, they can tell us where. Then on to Mystery Creek and the Field Days. Enjoy a day wandering about the many displays etc and either ride home as you need to leave or as a group depending on numbers. Then I was thinking maybe the next date should be the PUHOI Farmers Market on teh 28th June! Again any takers? Sound off here.
I'll be in for the Mystery Creek ride. From memory it's out by the airfield somewhere.
