what can i say ... skinny white boy move fast especially when theres a mad scotsman chasing him down :P after i had a good day at tech today, i decided to buy myself a new CD and then take the LOOOONG way home ... so put my CD in the bag, got chatting to a girl i have seen round tech a few times cause she was asking about my bike. Then got on the bike and proceeded at a very casual place through Invers on my way to the area i grew up... long story short, had a great ride even practiced my emergency stopping ... got home to listen to my new CD and the was nothing in the top pocket of my bag ... seems when i got chatting to the girl i forgot to close my bag as i was putting it on ... only one thing for it! retrace my steps, my hat, glasses, and CD were all gone, pass 1 i found nothing, pass 2 i got hat and glasses. I figured that was good enough, i could always download the CD, got bored in the house so i decided to give it one last shot, found the CD, case smashed but i have now backed it up on the PC
I lost a perfectly good Ducati hat on the way to the Vincent Rally that way.

Pretty quite in here, is that just because the last few weekends have been good weather? Funny the things that spur you on to take the bike out for a sprint isn't it. Me and the missus were on our way to the dairy this afternoon (in the car) to get some supplies when we caught up on a lady on a Honda Rebel (proudly displaying a L plate) She looked shaky on it, slightly weaving in the lane, but you just know she was having a blast. then while in the dairy two hogs went burrbling past, and you just know even THEY were having a blast. So I turned to the wife and told her I was going out for a ride when we got home. Just went for a sprint up and over the hills into Port Chalmers. Life is good
We're all waiting for summer I think...besides there seem to be a few riders here NOT in Southland (Invercargill, Winton, Gore, Riverton, Te Anau, Mossburn etc.) I'd understand the odd Central Otago rieder here as they're almost in Southland but Duneding and Nelson? Puhlease!
