Nice!!...if it wasn't for the poking dead things with a stick i might... Other then a belief i can do anything...i have all the standard workshop tools.welder, bearing pullers...chain blocks...grinders...drill press....hydraulic pipe bender...(don't ask)and i was an electrician, all that electrical test equipment etc.....plus a load of gear from my engineer dad..micrometers etc..and of course i am in construction so i have access to all sorts of goodies..mig welders, gas sets.....etc....anybody need 50m of 40mm galv pipe?......seriously.....
hm... pipe bender ... as in - you could make exhaust headers? or, were you referring to bending that galv pipe? would be cool to have galvanised steel headers...not
yes pipe bender....and yes im sure they could be used for headers....if the rollers are the right size...my intention was to make a frame....one day...
Bloody hell psy, you still have not got that exhaust sorted?? I have a new welder if that helps- no giant sparks from this one yet Seymoore- does your bender have 7/8 dies i.e. handlebars?

dodgyiti... the silencers are done now, but still have to find someone who can make the headers on the cheap side spent $$ on other things while contemplating on what to do with the headers, lol
so, who's got the spray-painting equipment? bruno is looking for a budget re-spray. i'm tinking i could do the prep and rattlecan job myself and would be happy to pay a friendly fellow biker reasonable $$ to have a few clearcoats applied. or happy to discuss other possible arrangements. anyone?
Prep it up as best you can, bring it over and I will guide you through laying 4 coats of spray putty and a matt black guide coat, go away for a week and wet sand it till yer fingers blead. Then I can show you how to do the top coat, then take it away for a week and wet sand and then I will do the clearcoat, it will have to be 2-pot to be petrol resistant. Your beyond rattle cans now lad, they do a rattle can job no matter what. The old girl will only need half a litre of top and clear coat to brighten up her bra and panties, sorry, tank and covers and tail. You would have to get that. I would rather you do the work, you have done so much already, it would not be right to farm out the paint job. Edit: There are a few tanks laying around here for you to fuck up first
