What a great day/weekend for riding

Hope you all got out there making the most of it and didn't get suckered into spending the whole day with your family, so as to ensure that they got to feel like they made your day special..... by taking all of it up .

I selfishly squeezed in an hour of doing what I wanted

We saw a lot of bikes on the road today on our way back from a weekend away in Rotorua thanks to Mr JMK's work

i spent most of the day building the garage but went for a nice ride yesterday

now that there's quite a few peeps registered here, i'm planning to pm all members to see who might be interested in short notice rides (notified on friday by text message, for a sat or sun ride) as the weather like this weekend is not too be missed.

with our long-planned rides so far the weather's often been... well, less than nice

You could ask him (steelrider) he's a BFTP member. I like his pricing, makes mine worth more

The GS has a nice paint scheme.
I dunno much about the value of Jap classics, never seen what they go for.

Gotta be a good bang for your buck though.

15K would only get you 2 classic Guzzi's/BMW's, or 1 & 1/4 Ducatis with probably as many issues.
(except the BMW's, they never have issues)

I reckon most bikes once past 15 to 20 years old are considerably better value than those under 10 to 15 years old (if they have been looked after).

As long as you can get all parts for them they are...

It's the one thing that has prevented me from getting a Moto Morini 500 thus far. But it has not stopped me still wanting one

    hmmmmmm 15k.....OMG.....7 GS 1100's or 1 & 1/4 Ducati's with issues.....
I'm glad I don't have to make that decision

all the bikes in that ad have been repainted and with no graphics i think it takes quite a bit out of them, they all look too plain to me.

My pick of the bunch would be the 1100 midnight special.
