It will be the last chance to walk around the new Hampton Downs race track this Sunday (27th)....anyone up for a ride down to take a look?...opens at 1pm so no need for early an start http://www.hamptondowns.com/
and i am sure we could avoid the mway..(for those who hate them).caseye has a great ride which ends up at mercer...we could just extend that a little..maybe jump to the 22 and come back up via Huntly to Hampton..

I haven't checked Mrs Headroom's plans for next weekend yet, but perhaps you lot could swing past Headroom Heights for a nice cup of licorice tea after perusing Hampton Downs . . . . .
ok...so maybe someone should through this in the calendar as a "group" ride....and dogyiti im sure the track will have a spare golf cart...or bmw...same thing really....

i was thinking of sending out a "short notice" for this weekend if the weather is fine. would be keen to see the new track. can make a calendar entry on thursday eve.
how does this ride look? http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=d&so...,1.234589&z=10
looks good to me cmoore. mind you the google maps suggest 136km in 4 hours lol, so i'm wondering if all those roads are sealed?? do you know those roads? i guess we could finish at max's place and then head off to the hampton downs? i wouldn't mind a longer ride either... maybe throw in the hunua road? i'm just going by the map, i don't actually know those roads... but keen to get to know them
i don't know them, i have done a ride with caseye which went sort of this way but was longer and better......i was hoping he would chime in.....i belive they are all sealed...
once your over the bombay's its all dark to me...
