I may be wrong, but I reckon that a good part of our attraction to our era of bikes is our fond memories associated with the era (and our youth).

I also reckon that music also is something that is commonly associated with memories of certain stages in our lives.

To that end, I thought I'd start a thread where we could post names of or links to music from the 70's and 80's that *floats our boats*. (thinking of Dodgyiti)

My first pick is the one hit wonder 'Baby it's you' by the Promises.

    Check out her tittays

Baby its you....Great song...and video. She would look outstanding in a BFTP t shirt.
I'm more your late 60's early 70's type..as well as punk and rock.
I like the Who, Led Zep, Deep Purple, Doors, Stones, Stranglers, G n R, Iron Maiden, Beatles, Hendrix.
All I can remember hearing on Hauraki in the late 70's and early 80's was disco and Phil Collins....contrary to what they would have you believe.
.....you don't get synthiser like that anymore....
    Long time BFM listener.
Think I'll throw 'Who's Next' on the turntable.....ahhhhh

    Dodge rote:
And what about that period where every hit song came from some half man/woman thing like Culture Club, Dead or Alive, Frankie goes to Hell for all I cared, we retreated into the warm embrace of metal and punk to drown it all out.
I'm over most of the classic rock, heard it too much over the years.
Nearly all I listen to is from this century

Yeah, Hauraki and the other Classic Hits stations have ruined great songs by over playing them.
    I never listen to them...
So are you off to Fleetwood Mac then.....
( what only if its Peter Green and no yanks...)

Lol. Gotta admit. Most of what I like to listen to on a daily basis is current releases. But I still get taken back in time when I hear something I haven't heard in a while. That 'Baby it's you' was one. and yours was another.
