Ok! Now I'm allowed to keep it, what am I going to do with it. I need ideas on what to do to her to make her look swish...er Help please. Feel free to draw on your monitors with crayon in original form
A decent personalised plate for starters
make it look like a volty........
without a fairing that frame doesn't lend itself to many options...the rest is a bit...ummm....sharp...so maybe an old 80s racing replica?....
.....a sidecar....
as i don't see you riding a street fighter, other than putting it back to that beautiful stock form i have only TWO WORDS... DRAG BIKE !!!
i think "terbang" might have one of these in his stable
I'm with Psy on the "back to factory" option, a glossy black fairing and covers with some classy gold trim in the right places...very nice! Although you could give it to Dodgy overnight and I bet he could do some wierd and wonderful things with it
Side covers are rare, the fairing even more so. Might be able to fit a tasteful smaller fairing and yeah! I like the black & gold pinstripe idea. That would look sweet
one day in Dodgies shed and volia.... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-247658379.htm suits you sir....
I don't think I could make anything that ugly without squatting.
theres lots of potential for customising..... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-237965633.htm or http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-248490352.htm or http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-246871479.htm
Have you asked the guy if he has the fairings? I seem to remember some for sale down south a while ago. If it were my bike I would go for a mild street fighter look, original fairings etc are like rocking horse crap so it may take a while to find some. I have seen a few of those gsxs with the rectangular bikini fairings from GPZs and they look good.
Voltaire KiwiGS I just happen to have access to a rectangular fairing that might just do the job. Hopefully I can find a set of original side covers somewhere.
Ha ha so how much is that brand new Leather ( not the yucky stuff leatherette ) Lounge suite going to cost Croc? Never mind, I'd go for getting her back to as close to original as possible, a great looking bike mate.
