Was in a forest called Topuni for an exercise last weekend, first time we've used that forest in particular. Going to go up on the 12th of July to do a more extensive recce of the area, with the view that it'll be good for future exercises. As I'd hate to spend a day by myself (and biking in isolated areas is slightly silly), thought I'd put out the call for keen people to come along. Planning a serious recce, or something along the lines that the DR (Ok, the DR is capable, but the rider not always ...) might be able to cope with?
haha, by serious what do you mean? it's pretty much all gravel in there, few dirt tracks, but not many. Main thing is that we'd be stoppping every few minutes to shoot gps points and plot things on the map... If ya can live with that!
By serious I meant going kinda hellbent & against the clock As for a more laxed out recce, that I can handle - don't mind stop-start too much either. Was even contemplating the quad instead of the DR. Keep us posted will ya? Am interested.
Sam, I could be keen on this one. About to hear back about some other shit happening on the weekend, but that sounds like a good-un. Weather forecast is for rain, so that should add to the fun.
