i'm looking at getting spanners like those, very handy indeed, and for jappas you only need sizes 10, 12, 14 and 17
follow up to the carb removal.........tried to start it up today.....flood of fuel out the vent pipe.....hmmmmm.......took them out again.......found i had slipped the pin next to the float hinge rather then through it...needle valve sitting in float chamber...grrrrrrr.....good news is......getting the carbs in and out was a breeze this time.....managed to clean another couple of bits as well.....(had to shut down fast last tuesday night when missis came home from some fashion show and i still had the bike in the dining room...)....anyway.....carbs in.....very very clean......and running well now.... i have a those ratchet spanners...they are very good....also two socket sets a large set and a small one for getting into those tight places...
cmoore, the idea was that you would have one RUNNING bike while tinkering with the other one, no? tinkering with both at the same time, uhm, well... i dunno
yeah i know...new toy and all that.......
