hey futura, i assume that's because posting in social club doesn't count towards your posting status. not sure if that's why though.
caseye, some people have pm'd me their names and cell details for notifications of rides, so when we meet next we can compare notes. bear in mind that people have to join the group to see what's going on in here, so likely many of the members are not really current anymore. i guess some people may be reluctant to send their details before meeting us in person so it might be a good idea to ask for personal details only once we meet in a real life first. dunno really, just guessing by how i would react to being asked personal details from someone i have not met. privacy issues, identity theft, etc...

The details being requested (other than maybe address) aren't unreasonable and are generally less comprehensive than those that are readily accessible to people in all sorts of forms like phone books, census etc. If we keep our main forum thread active with posts that we want lots off views (like the bad to the bone post- which could have just as easily been put in the main thread) short notice ride events and so on, KB members should be able to see enough to make inquiries and/or meet at rides. If they want to get access to more then surely they can make that very small commitment.

Ya did already, silly! I'm OK with people not being keen to pass on theri contact details. All it means for me and our adminsitators is that no one can be contacted in the event that someone should be. So,I've asked for details, I've received many, I'm missing plenty, I'm not concerned enough to push it any further,up to our guys and Girls from here on in.
