No way to transport a loud hailer, though the thought was strong in us. They are actually HUGE. I did consider bringing the car down so I could carry all these sorts of things but then I would have missed out on what is shaping up to be a huge ride 104 registered this morning, in all the years I have been on here I have never seen that number register for anything. Good point, Ducky. I am expecting Mom will make a request for reimbursement for the megaphone thingy and it will be money well spent! For those who don't know, Mom had to run out and buy a megaphone for the protest on Sunday. Phantasm, MadDuck and I all said "go for it!" because that's exactly the sort of thing the fund is for. Also some Scary Bikers might not have caught up on the news about the stadium repair - just to let you know, people have been making deposits into the account especially for the repair and as far as I know they are all happy to have any surplus added to the War Chest. Is that correct Ms Duck? And have the new deposits covered the stadium repair completely?
The new deposits have MORE than covered the repairs. I guess I wanted people to have the option to put money directly into the Stadium repair. Sometimes people dont want to chuck money into a "general" fund if that makes sense?
Yes. I know just what you mean. Very often if there is a "project" in mind, people are more willing to donate.
