After a team HB BFTP effort at wickles (Wickle, DD, Flash, Tate and me and my son Tyler) we sorted that the chain is a 530. Its suposed to run a 532 but has been converted at some stage, makes sense too 532 is just oddball. Standard gearing is 14/46, but its running a 14/42 ! set up for Bonneville at the moment. The chain and sprockets are listed on the RK chain and PBR sprocket websites. after a bit of cross reference the rear sprockets are common to quite a few suzukis (bandit 600's) and some yamahas. the front fits Suzis , yams, and some kwakas. Just got a joiner and shorten the chain to get James thru xmas and a wedding, He doesnt think his new wife too be would enjoy a chain and sprocket kit as a wedding pressy It will be all sorted for Feb tho
You did very well guys. Keeping the lads on the road
chain and sprocket as a wedding prezzie....i like it.....sounds almost like a ball and chain....
I had a mate buy his wife a new set of rally tyres for one of her birthdays.
i bought mine an iron for one and a rolling pin for another....
I bought mine a weed eater for valentines day 2 years ago and a set of bathroom scales for her birthday.
no word of a lie I bought mine a new helmet for her last birthday.. same colour as bike.. thought I was so clever... aparantly not so clever
bathroom scales........classic croc...........
Heh! Her friends were disgusted when she told them I'd bought her some scales for her birthday. They all started in with their stories about their men and how they've been bought toasters, jugs, microwaves etc etc... They were gobsmacked when Janine said.... "oh no! he didn't give me kitchen scales, he gave me BATHROOM SCALES" There is no point buying them anything practical. They will hate you. The more useless it is, the more they will like it. They particularly like things that wilt & wither as they look at them.... dead flowers, dead men (husbands) etc
hah!!!!!....actually mine was happy as when i told her we had been "talking about her present"....as if even just thinking about it was enough....they is a very strange breed..
James came over this morning and we took a link out, The adjustment is good now and in the middle of the adjuster marks on swingarm. Definatly in need of new parts. Will get a few more KMs out of it tho
