After dropping in at the track day a couple of weekends ago I am tempted. They looked to be having great fun out there. Is there a super-slow class?
You will be right, Track days are good fun, there are all sorts of bikes at them , No under taking allowed (except in race group) and the passing rider has to do it safely and they get black flaged quick smart if they dont, same deal with bikes obviusly in the wrong class trying to be heros. I run in the medium group on my LC. Only done manfeild twice, once on short track and once on long track, Done heaps at Taupo Might take the RGV for saturday ( for sale as well 1989 RGV250, suits F3 and post classic) hows the engine job going? The super karts are awesome to watch. There braking points (or lack of) are amazing running 250 GP engines , TZ, RS ect some big MX singles too
Anyone going on Saturday or Sunday? Good feild of post classic , 20 ish pre89 , 8 pre 82 and 4 pre72 115 entyrs without counting cross entrys, I do Pro twin open for more track time as do most of the TZ , LC guys A mate is racing his mint Z1R too, Be good to see it on the track !

We could all hire manfeild for a day, or half a day, I will find out pricing of nigel, should be able to get a good deal during the week, get it on a friday and make a weekend out of it Old track Taupo is resonably priced too, Its a fun little track too

How many recovery vehicles would we need?
A GS with a chair for a recovery vehicle sounds good wickle. My cousin had a XR250A with a chair to take his RM250, a fuel can and a crate to the river years ago. I will be in garage 3 on pit lane, we have 3 postys bikes , a late model tz125 and a KR150. leaving at 6am see you there

Was a fun weekend, getting how to ride manfeild now( sort of) as it was my 2nd time there, racer at Taupo heaps over the last 3 years. Body still aching ,not that race fit and rode the RGV and LC on the track day, and Post classic and Pro Twin Open on the LC on race day. Stripped the engine last night to get my road LC ready for Taumarnu ( 35 mins) Race report to come Dadpole, Grab the work when its there mate ;-) hows the bike?
