BFTP 400 Westgate to Dargaville & Whangarei Aprill 11th Event location: Auckland - Westgate WHO & WHAT: '70s & '80s bikes, WHERE & WHEN: Sunday, 11th April 8.00 am for a 8.15 am start at Shell Westgate. ROUTE: 408kms through Riverhead, Kaukapakapa, Wellsford, Brynderwyn, Maungaturoto, Dargaville to Whangarei for lunch (approx 12:00 to 1:00) then back via SH1 to Warkworth and via Old Woodcocks Rd to the Kaukapakapa Pub for an Ale (approx 3:00pm). DURATION: Approx 7 hours PACE: We use the "pointer sisters" system so noone gets lost and everyone can ride at their own pace. You guys seem to be out there doing rides every weekend while us Jaffa's (me included) are thinking about all the reasons why we can't have a good time riding our bikes.
