Not now, nor have I ever really been interested in cars beyond driving them. Working on cars... Ripped torn skin, bleeding knuckles, dented panels and broken windows. Age is irrelevant.
im a crappy car far as well, the newest car i owned has been a 1990 nissan bluebird, and the only reason i got that was because it was a diesel and it only cost me 2 tinnies gotta love a $40 car that was a brilliant car it would do 1000km to 40litres of diesel (was over due mileage by 60000km ) now i have a old 88 delica 4x4 which is ace (good for recovering the bikes when they break down out a red rocks )
Done the old car thang. Had heaps of hotrods and yanks, plus the usual Falcons etc. Don't even want to go their again. Work on cars all day with the business. After work, 2 wheels for me.
Tin foil death trap KiwiGS, not the best for safety so don't prang it eh? I have been well and truly down the old car road, my fave is EH Holdens, I have had 6 stationwagons, 4 sedans and a panelvan before I finally found a decent ute which I have had for the last 11 years. My other fave is the VF Valiant hardtop, of which I had to sell to buy my latest property
i hate cars...teenage kids....old cars.....horrible to work on......
The coolest old car Iv'e owned was a '37 Studebaker straight six. Would just manage 90 mph. Had a very tricky bench front seat that had quick release pins to lower the back level with the back seat. That surprised a few young ladies. A mate bought it and rapped it around a power pole within one month of ownership. No humans were critically injured during this death defying feat!
