DOn't know if any of you have used this crowd. I have a couple of times and they are really good. Based in Montreal, quick service and they sent us what we needed.

From what I have read you are one of the lucky ones Rattii!
For quite awhile their name has been on a "deadbeat list" on the GSR.
If I have to get anything for the bike I get it from Z1 Enterprises Never had an issue yet.....

I dealt with them a few times some years back. They were OK. Then there was a period when people seemed to be having a lot of problems with them. Maybe they had a rough patch and have worked through it.

i got that set of progressive suspension from them a few weeks ago, their email responses were prompt but the despatch time was way longer than advertised on the website. they were very good at charging just the actual USPS postal rates so all up, i'd use them again.

i didnt realize they were ever on the deadbeat list on the gsr, i thought that was anderson motorcycles, that bastards still owes me money, not that i'll ever see it

damn! didnt realize that... i thought oldbikebarn had comparatively good prices... and that was of course attractive... had i known "bear" was aka tad anderson i surely wouldnt have bought from them.. i wouldn't be surprised if he was in for another round of scams
    cheers DD

oooooooo, ok, thanks for the headsup.
Jeepers we were lucky then. BOught a box full of fiddly bits, gasket sets and seals and stuff. and then a handbook.
Won't go there again, better spend my hard earned dosh elsewhere.

Z1 Enterprises looks like a go.
    Cheers

I dealt a bit with Tad Anderson before he was OBB. I don't think he was ever crooked but he was really bad at organising stuff and communicating. He had lousy systems and he had a lot if stuff that he didn't really know what he had, and what he did have he didn't know where it was . If he had what you wanted and he could find it quickly, it was all good. But if not instead of coming back and saying " sorrymate" he'd bugger about for ages looking for stuff, sending wrong stuff and so on. And then people got shitty with him and he got allnegative and emo.

From what I've read on the GSR, I believe that you're on the mark here Ixion.

I would recommend Z1 Enterprises too. I have dealt with Jeff over a period of 4 years now. Prices are very competitive and delivery is timely. I usually have goods within 4-7 days of dispatch from the US.

I rebuilt my 850 top end with parts from Z1, for 1/2 the price it would have cost me through Suzuki NZ.

dunno, i first got in touch with tad when looking for oversized pistons for my gs. his website said they had them in stock, i checked with him through an email and he said yup have them in stock. then there was some problem with the credit card payment so we exchanged a few more emails and a phone call. each time he was quick to respond. i.e. until my payment went through. from then on i got no replies to my emails or phone calls whatsoever. never got any of the parts i ordered eaither.... to me that's a bit more than just a bad organisation.

Yeah, some have reported similar to your experience Psy. I will never deal with him, regardless of what rarities he may be offering. The risk of being ripped off is just too high!!
