With the GS VERY near completion and work started on the VMX, I'm on the lookout for another project bike. Ideally a small (up to 450) 4 stroke early Jap motor or ratty bike would be the go otherwise anything anybody knows of. Only basically after motor and forks as I plan to build frame and most of other gubbins as advert for business.

Seen a couple of others. Honda CM200- cheap choppery style (that's a contradiction!) thing complete and would be ideal base for what I have in mind. OR Early Yam 80 (think early 70's) Bit more expensive but looking all lonely and would make cracker restoration, HELP
How much more work is needed before the GS is on the road?
Forks to go back in, electrics to tidy up, new tyres and seat to recover. Should have on road by end of month.

messy sheds lol I am going to attempt to get my duke out this weekend, Its surrounded by yamahas and valiant parts and hasnt seen the light of day since january its also coming off rego hold next week....................

well... It was a GSXR1100. now its spread allllll over the floor. its great. almost got everything thing clean. then can focus on the replace and reassemble
Well the Honda had gone, for $85 it would have been worth it just for the motor. Would still be interested in the little Yam but can't get hold of the idiot. WHY do people put mobile numbers in adds then not answer the thing So am still looking. Am going to check out a couple on the interwebby tonight. Am still available for cleaning out garages.
