waikaremoana is a lake about 160k north west of napier col, the classic club does a winter run there (furkin freezing) but the lni bash has got some serious pull hehe just great bein around the bftp brethrens! unsure on exact details of rattis do as of yet tho....
You don't want to go up there, according to JK you'll get put in the pot. The 100 kms of gravel on the other side would be a fun run.....
i can squeeze one more weekend away between now and the end of November........3rd trip to the Burt Munro Challenge........so happy to do either........tho wouldnt be on a classic.........saw a nice old square Four Aerial at KTL yesterday...........hmmmm
