If trademe or the wreckers don't turn up one for under 150 then Robinson instruments in the central city are good.
Formally of the city...now in trendy Onehunga near dressmart and the cafes....( I could be an estate agent)
Sweeping views of Princess Street in the heart of Historic Onehunga.

How can a Unit student afford enhancments.....? ...anyway guys want intelligence over looks

Caseye, dont need gel implants, he has a nicely rounded arse as it is.

DOnt know about gell inserts on the seat, Ive only ever seen them as a topper. I imagine they would collapse after a while ( probably made by the same crowd that makes Ducati tanks ). Leather is ok. It ages nicely and gets a nicely comfy arse shaped contour to it.And it does give a bike a certain 'worn in' look that is nice. But you do need to be vigilant in keeping to waterproofed. If it helps, Im intending to eventually reco Rattis seat in leather. Mine and the zeds.. just so MSTRS wont have to say the inevitable. Check out a dealer and see if you can still buy new foam/covers. YOU might be able to and as long as ithe shape suits, it may well be the cheaper option

if i may just comment on uni students.....having worked here now for 6 months.....i have little understanding how the male students maintain focus during class when I see what the female students wear….there is a lot of truth in the notion that today’s school girls dress like hookers and the hookers dress like school girls…

Our man caseye tends to see a fair bit of water in his travels, I would be going for old fashioned vinyl

The problem with leather seats I have found is if the leather covers a largish area it stretches over time and wrinkles- unless plenty of stitched panels or ribs are done. Plus I found it very hard keeping it waterproofed on a daily runner because your bum rubs off the compound.

I watched the local auto upholsterer do a bike seat out of thick vinly type stuff, when he was finished sewing the panels and ribs he turned it over and with a hot glue type gun he fused the seams on the back side with this goo that melted in. Now that looked the sh*t for waterproofing. It was flexible but not sticky but looked like tar.

Can anyone just buy that stuff Ratti?
    And what's it called?
I want to try it, have hot glue gun and sewer...
