Anyone got any tricks for getting a nice matt or satin finish on alloy? Cases need some gouges welding up and polishing out but want to end up with nice finish to contrast the VERY glossy frame.
I have used my trusty Supercheap sandblaster with medium grit and finished with silver car paint. It came up with a finely textured finish that was a perfect satin look.
