I'm after a pre Hinkley 5 speed box.
I don't think it matters if its right or left shift.
Anyone got one under their bed or shed or in your shed within a shed?

I will ask around on Thursday night at the meeting of WABBBT ( West Auckland British Bike Brains Trust) for you. A 5-Speed for sure to make the best of it. At least I can ask them what years are good ones, if any..What you looking at spending? Trevor Hall has that sort of stuff if you ask nicely and be seated for the price, also Nesbit will have one and all the bits to recon it.

    I like this dude's videos; http://www.triumphrat.net/vintage-te...nt-videos.html

I asked Mr Nesbit, who I imagined as a sort of Brit bike Steptoe and Son......he quoted me $1200 for a set of gears and a cam plate
They go for around 3-5 hundy US on Ebay depending on demand.
So I'm probably looking at 800 nz......

I suppose its just wait and see what comes up.....
Thanks guys for keeping an eye out.
