Don't Ebay sellers like to write a short novel ....when what the really mean is " its for sale" The problem with 'collector' bikes is the value is not in the riding as in the owning....you are buying bragging rights. Hmmmm when was the last time I saw a 900ss actually being used......ummmm...
I saw a MHR being used a while back last time I saw a 900SS Bevel drive (a real SS in other words) in regular use was back in the mid nineties when I had my Darmah, a guy I know with a 81/82 ish used to do all our club runs plus a regular rally goer, Southern cross etc
Yeah, what's the point in having something for bragging rights! You'd be forever looking for that first stone chip. As for dropping them, it doesn't bear thinking about.
I am using the SS as my commuter bike, great blasting past the scooters in the bus lanes..... The insects are hard to get out of the suit.....
