Same seat I will be using, what model is the diff out of?
its a repro SS seat that I widened to fit the BMW frame. The diff is a 81 ish R100rs.
Kick, Funnily enough, after having ridden there a few times, it is one of the events I'm least intersted in doing. I've seen some weird shit happen....!
Pulled the headlight assembly off it today as someone sent me a pm asking about buying it, took off the bars and steering damper and fitted up some clipons I had lying around, undecided whether I will use the clipons I have as they may be slightly to low, might try it first and see how it feels
OK well it's obviously been far too long since I posted a pic as i still can't get it to bloody well work. So I'll try again at the bottom of thjis post, but if all else fails , it's the red one in the members pics area. Got Wifey her next ride last weekend. 1989! Yes, qualifies for us. NV400 Custom. Nonda. Done 73K's. In great nic. Pity she can't ride it till the end of October aye. Ah well, it's here and there a couple of minor things need doing to it to make it perfect for her, so no time like the present and it was the right price. Handle bar adjustment(read, bending to suit) can it be done safely? Gear shift doesn't like going down through the gears sometimes, think it might be that the previous owner took it off the spline to adjust the height position, not sure. Apart from those two little things shes a minter.
