I am keen on setting a meeting place that is central to everyone and going from there, then we can change the route regularly between north/south/east/west. I am keen on doing a good day ride on some challenging roads once a month. Anyone keen? suggestions? Mike
I am dead keen to do this route one day. I have been on all these roads in a car and am hanging out to try with the bike. I reckon depart town, first stop albany, 2nd stop orewa, 3rd stop wellsford and lunch at mangawai heads. Then return to auckland with a few stops as required. I'm variable on my available days. Starting a new job soon so dont know exactly yet. It's a bloody nice ride out to Puhoi pub too for a feed.

Okay, so I dunno if it'll become a regular ride as I usually work Sunday's (swapped a shift for my regular Saturday off), but I'm keen for a ride this weekend on Sunday - the 24th of Jan - if anyone else wants to come out? Don't mind heading south, north, east or west, just keen for a good ride! Be nice to ride with bikes of a similar capacity, I kinda got left behind last ride I went on with the bigger boys...
