We had a hot rod show today...well a Show & Shine at the high school.I'm not into Camaros and Mustangs...or '64 chevs with 22in chrome wheels - I look for right hand drive and black number plates. The was a 1955 Willys custom, never seen one,but it was NZ new, completely original down to the paint...nice.Car of the day for me was a Bradford, sort of a custom restoration - metallic purple, chrome radiator, polished alloy on the engine, nice tray.I'll put up a photo soon.

There was a nice Morris 8 Sports, and the guy was looking for a klaxon horn.I'm a hoarder and never throw anything away...but Dodgy has been making me feel guilty about hanging on to treasures I'll never use.So I sold my horn.He was very happy....and I get to be happy about that, getting paid for something that hasn't been used for 15 years.

I came away with some tomato plants - Black Prince,Black Cherry,Brown Brandy Wine and Snowball.Should be interesting what they are like.

I was going to make a resistor so I could run it on 12v,but the idea only resurfaced once every 3 1/2 years - now you can get cheap 12v klaxon horns,so why bother.Wish I had a Morrie 8 Sports I could get all anal over.....
