Chris Sales TM400 (post classic motard, similar engine intake design as the early RMs), has a reed block welded on and the intake reshaped (along with the original crank case reed cavity filled with an epoxy block). that thing is epic. Some one down here was selling a cut reed block on Trademe just a while back. (I'll see if I can find it again). try triple the size of inlet ports... lots of filing to do.
