Well in that case I will take the coastal road and meet you turkeys there! No way is my darling Gina doing that awful gravel ever again How about we switch sides and go along the East coast? HB Posse and The Latte Crew meet in the middle? Let's face it, who else is keen other than those who have already made it to a rally or two? Not that I am discounting a few new faces- that would be great, but realistically... Northern riders go Paeroa/Waihi/Te Puke to Opotoki - Southern riders go Wairoa/Gizzi then inland to Opotoki and we do a day ride to Hicks Bay? Far southern riders perhas billeted on the friday night at HB, then the sunday ride to Hicks could split the group either heading back via Tauranga, the southern riders completing the loop down the east side and home?
I'm up for the Forgotten Highway, thought we could do the Peak to Peak.... Ruapehu and Egmont in a day..... Not all Italian bikes are afraid of gravel....
The adventures of Clutchless-Cargo eh Volty? But this is the last of the golden weather, and you wanna go to freeze your nuts off? Wouldn't a vascetomy be quicker?
I prefer March, not as hot. Well you would take show pony on a road known to have gravel..... maybe the show and shine at the Bikes and Blues would be more suitable for Gina.....
Not silly going East Coast some great roads
I plan my trips around shops that sell nuts/bolts/batteries/tape/glue/wire and string these days.
