    Yeah it was a big hit and there wasn't just one, txt and cell coverage is a bit intermittent, this time it's pretty bad, way worse than the 7.1 in September

    Nah all good here Jase, I live 30 km north and it's all ok here, I work in Chch and getting out of town was a bit of a mission, I think it is hard for people to comprehend how bad it is unless you can walk the streets and see the damage and this one is so much worse because of the loss of life

    Yeah I gave Graham a txt the day after to check how they were, doing ok today no aftershocks since 11.15am

    We're going to reopen Monday if we can have the buildings inspected by then

    Our ChCh office opposite Cathedral Square is not badly damaged but they are saying no access for 2 weeks or until that Hotel collapses or longer.
