3 in a row from Trademe. They are failing to secure their site. Be careful out there, if it seems too good to be true, then it isn't... 1, Selling California, scammer trying to buy it. Warned by Trademe. All good, sold it a few days later anyway. 2, Selling BMW, scammer hacks Trademe members account and uses buy now. Warned by Trademe member and 3 days later without me having to contact Trademe I get a refund and can relist it. 3, Buying a BSA, made a bid and the auction closed under reserve. I get an email from the 'seller'. The email does not read like it came from Invercargil and the nice chap I talked to on the phone. Smelt of Soy Sauce it did. So I said yes I will buy it for some stupid low price, give me a ring, you have my phone number- never heard back. The bugger had hacked into someones Gmail account, somehow hacked my email as I never gave it to the seller and there we go, 3 scammers in a row. Awesome Trademe
