Next one is my kids PC had a rooted motherboard....can it be fixed.....its about 4 years old on XP? Depends what type, Magneti marelli, Lucas, Boyer or Rita..........................
Lucas? If so, set fire to it then bury the ashes. Voltaire: A new motherboard is the solution if the old one is definitely stuffed. How do you know it is the motherboard? Dodgyiti: the hard drive could last for months (or even years) yet. Just be aware it will drop dead anytime between now and the end of the century.
