I had a subcontractor who worked for me who couldn't read or write....(he fixed clotheslines)......when i sent faxes out he would always ring me and say his fax was playing up and could i read what it said.....i used to tell him no worries and I'd re fax it.....he didn't know that i knew........ahh...the good old days and the fun we had........actually i had a union rep that was the same...i kicked him off site for organizing a meeting without notification...in writing........I got an extremely abusive call from the labour party or something.....and then they called my boss......he thought i must have actually kicked the guy the way they had described it.......i just said the rules said they had to send a notice in writing...he hadn't.....even though they all knew he couldn't write.....i was to blame!!.....
