I have no problem running old tyres - visual and seat of the pants testing will tell me what I need to know.Unfortunatly the public wants tyres that are round and black,and cheap as possible please. Hmmm, all this talk of old tyres. Might see if doing a wee toodle on some unsealed roads will freshen up the Avon on the CXs spare wheel. Seemed to work on the Cheng Shin ok. Must be at least 5mm on tread left and it'd be shame to waist it. It's gotta be better right?
