In the immortal words of Midnight Oil " Short memories, must have a, shorrrrrrrrrrt memory". Manfield and Puke still bear some of the scares!! I'd bet good money that Hampton Downs won't risk their surface on truck racing.
Truck racing today is a pale imitation of the early days, truck racing will only wreck the surface if it's a poor surface to start with and quite often have been unfairly blamed for track damage
