For all you Moto Guzzi fans http://www.guzzioverland.co.uk/
There are lots of Guzzi fans...but few push the envelope and actually buy one....
I think that thing was at Pukekohe. I noticed one of our forum members who is a keen Guzzi man poring over it so as to gain ideas and inspiration (something about wanting more comfort on a Le Mans for rides to Whangamomona?) Is that a bog roll on the right rear upright?
I thought it was the most hideous piece of crap ever put together...you don't need all that junk for overland trip. Their adventure is cool, their Frankenguzzi is not. On poor roads weight is not your friend. Motus bike would be wayyy better.
double post....
you guys are just jelous that someone thought of it first.....

Yeah,a bit extreme to do something that these days you can buy a bike practically made to do it...like a GS BMW.You should check out rtwdoug - he goes around the world picking out places no one else would consider going on bikes like an Indian, panhead and shovel head choppers...and his latest build for RTW is the Dirtster. He does it lean and mean on bikes totally unsuited to the job.
Each to his own, he did it for himself and it works for him.
it's all part of the axis max........part of the master plan.........
What some poeple do to stop their pride and joy being stolen.
