    Dodgy:
    How about the blanket 3?
1977 Moto Guzzi Mk1 LeMans - 1 blanket and near the door, might leave the blanket on as it makes the seat more comfortable.
1975 BMW R90S - Several Blankets and right at the back....has panniers so blanket can travel.
1973 Norton Commando 850 - 1 Blanket and only comes out to play in Summer, blanket is good for absorbing oil
I don't use blankets....Triumphs fit in Tea Chests.....sort of an oily infusion.....

I haven't had many BFTP bikes, so I will list what I have owned
80s Suzuki A100, 9, first bike, wonderful machine until my younger brother got his hands on it.
91 Yamaha SR 250, 3, one of the worst biles i have ever owned, constantly breaking down and could manage 105 kms going downhill.
1972 Yamaha R5, 4, brought for $65, spent $200 to get it going, sold for $300
1974 Yamaha DT 250, 2, was in pieces when i got it, still in pieces when i sold it
1981 Honda CB 400N, 10, one of the Best bikes i have, and still got it (almost roadworthy again)
1987 Yamaha XZ 400, 1, had a bad habbit of stopping anywhere and not starting for ages
1985 Honda CX 400 Euro, 10, another excellent bike, soon to be decomissioned and repaired, currently my main ride

Pretty obvious that if you owned a BMW you don't have to bother with all the grey porridge that the Brits, Eyeties and Japs made in the olden days.....
