Long day in the saddle on a 39 year old bike..... Was I glad to get home. Thanks Psy for organising the run. I added a few pics to the picture section. Broke out the tool box twice for Honda repairs.....
Kane, if your looking for your filter its in the bushes on the left at the first turning out of Paeroa.....

    That is sooo BFTP.

almost cheaper to ride down and find it than buy another
The gas would be much less on the scooter than the price of a new one

If something did not fall off or stop working properly it would not be a true ride

No one mentioned it so I thought it must have been road debris...your filter will have a much quieter time in the bushes...

It was good to see home base after 515km today. A great days ride especially the roads not often travelled (or ever): Paeroa to Kaimais, Pyes Pa, Tahuna to Ohinewai.
Maybe I should have put my heated hand grips on after all
At least the rain was brief.

Good to meet the dudes that were unmet by me at the start of the day: Kane, Evan, Murray, Trina, Ian

A ride with the crew is always time well spent! Good times all round

Thanks for a great day out guys! 570 kms door to door... phew...

Good to hear cmoore made it home. I was worried he didn't loose us but just froze still in that jeans outfit , and is somewhere in the hills by Kaiua waiting for spring to thaw the icicles off Glad you had a good feed man

Fantastic effort from ICE180 to join us on the scooter! And the lost filter is sooo BFTP. Glad it wasn't me - I spent half hour yesterday fitting one filter that kept popping out and falling off a minute after being installed. At the end I used double sided self adhesive tape... and stayed in place it did...

Nice intro ride by 1billyboy, encouraged me to loose any chicken strips up that Kaimai hill road... eh?

Just come back inside from the shed
Keep at it caseye. I was thinking that whenever that bad boy is finished we need to throw a BFTP Coal Burner Resurection Ride

Weird exposure photo. Lone prospect left to guard the bikes while we had lunch
