That upside down bar mods sucks arse in my opinion, puts the bars at a funny angle, I only ever ran my in the stock position oh yeah "BMWs don't break down"

An early factory production racer trick - ride your BSA Goldstar to the track,turn the bars upside down and have a completely stock (production) bike. And then,why bother to reverse them,just leave them like that so everyone knows you are a serious racer. Just like knee sliders these days...wear them on the street so everyone knows you must be famous.
